Our Story
Grimsby Life Centre was established in 1996 with a desire to provide meaningful support to individuals and families facing difficult life circumstances. What began as a crisis pregnancy support centre grew into a centre with the ability to support a larger portion of our community. Our mission however has always been to help individuals and families see the value and wonder of life! The ministry has grown into a trusted place where people can come to be heard, find clarity, and receive care. Over the years, we have had the privilege of walking alongside individuals through a wide range of challenges, offering encouragement, guidance, and hope. Today, Grimsby Life Centre continues to serve the community with the same heart it was founded on—creating a safe and welcoming space for anyone in need of support.
Our Heart
At the heart of Grimsby Life Centre is a commitment to offering help, hope, and healing to everyone who walks through our doors. We believe that sometimes we all need help, and no one should have to face life’s challenges alone. Our approach is centered on listening, understanding, and walking alongside each individual with care and compassion. While we are a faith-based organization, we serve individuals from all backgrounds. Our goal is to meet people where they are and provide support that feels safe, welcoming, and meaningful.
What We Offer
We provide free, confidential counseling and support for a wide range of life challenges. Our goal is to offer practical, compassionate care to individuals and families in every season of life.

- Grief and loss
- Relationship and family challenges
- Trauma and life transitions
- Parenting and youth support
- Addiction and recovery
In addition to individual counseling, we are continuing to expand our services through group support and community-based programs to better meet the needs of our community.
